I got the ARC of the book from BookSirens and I don't regret reading it. In fact, that was another of my great read this year. Thanks BookSirens and Samantha Armstrong for such an awesome book.
This book covers a lot of sweet aspects- Mallory and Nicole's friendship, Troy's concern for Mallory, journey of a home-schooled girl to outdoors, depression of Kaitlyn. Not a single page made me feel bored. This book might be a great help to people who really need to fight their depression.(Cutting your hand is never the solution, right?)
When Troy said he loves some Daisy Rodriguez, I felt like killing him at that instant. But the twists followed by that incident brought tears to my eyes.(I didn't cry though!)
My favorite quote from the book was ''If you don't get your own way, rebel until you do.'' After reading this I was like Wow!(I have just chosen the right book!)
Characters:
My favorite character from the book is Nicole (Didn't I tell you about Nicole? That's impossible). Nicole, Mallory's pen-pal cum best friend is soooo adorable. I felt like hugging her tight, she is that sweet (Now my best friend might be jealous). Their friendship explains that friendship is never about distances, it's always about heart to heart connections (Yeah, I am serious!).
Have you ever thought about falling in love with a bad guy with tattoos? Nope, right? But if you read this book you are gonna fall in love with Troy Parker. (Trust me, I am head-over-heels in love with him.) Troy is the sweetest bad guy I ever read about.
Oh, Mallory! You aren't my favorite character though but thanks for being rebellious (and secretly stupid!) throughout the book. Love you, girl!
So basically, I just turned to be a fan of Samantha Armstrong.
About the author (Copied from goodreads):
Samantha Armstrong's novels incorporate all of the feels—from swoon-worthy heroes to sweet-but-mostly-sassy heroines, quirk and laughter to emotional grit and panty melting-heat. She has written in multiple genres, but never strays far from romance.
